We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of industry leaders who are combining our expertise to create meaningful, scalable, and sustainable impact on the growing orphan well issue in our communities.
Our Mission
Our mission is to serve as the projector operator and carbon credit issuer for orphan well plug and abandonment projects. By reinvesting carbon credit sales directly back into additional well closures, we create a continuous, self-sustaining cycle of environmental impact.

Through our partnership with TAQ Energy, Carbon Path, ECOTEC Solutions, Social Octane, Digital Brand House, and Mercenary Sales, we have created a true turnkey system. This allows us to identify orphan wells with carbon credit potential, execute P&A operations, verify emissions reductions, issue and market carbon credits, sell directly to buyers, and reinvest proceeds back into OWP to fund future wells.
